Park Pirate left me a few crumbs....

Park Pirate was on a silver streak this morning but he left a couple coppers and a nickel for me so I didn't go home empty handed. Dug the gorgeous 1888 indian head cent and the 1890 V-nickel on a little hill that we have pounded to death. Was happy to dig a small 10K ring before ending the day with a nice 1859 fattie that is one of the best fatties I have ever dug. No silver for me but not a bad hunt.

Great finds !

I hunted a 100 year old, 40 acre park today and only came up with 3 wheaties. I think the "never hunted out" approach does not apply to this place. Will not be going back.

Nice finds Ed, where were you guys over at WP? I ended up getting out this evening for a bit, LP was giving it up today got 5 Indians and a few other odds and ends.
