Park silver from the last 4 or 5 times out.

Still having fun with my E-Trac. I also dug 28 wheat's. Still using stock coil, coin mode, auto sensitivity +3, conductive sound, fast on, deep off, gain at 22, difficult ground, trash density high, and normal tones,

HH Randy

Randy,

Looks like you are doing great with the E-Trac . . . . congratulations.

Had a question on the areas you are finding the silver in . . . . what turns the coins that grayish color? What do the wheats come out looking like - chewed up and pretty good shape?

Andy

Hi Andy,

I'm not sure what makes them turn gray. In some parts of the same park they come out in pretty good shape. Most of the wheaties come out in good shape. I've been hitting Elysian and Griffith park. My sensitivity usually reads between 16 and 21 (without the +3). So I'm usually between 19 and 24. Your book has been a big help and with some nice tips from Bill Paxton I've been doing well with the E-trac when I find the time to get out.

Thanks for the reply.

The gray on the silver makes them look like the came out of the water.
I know when I find silver in the lakes that is how they come out.
So, maybe there is a ton of wet ground where you are finding them.
I hope that helps
