Parks, sports fields and their snak shacks

Hunting some areas I haven't hit for a couple years Using the X tipped with the small 8x7 coil. Gotta tell ya the trash factor has really increased since I've been there. Never mine that , the X really gets down in between the junk. So the machine gives me a high ratio of good targets to junk. In one note, In my area it it seems the quarter is the most lost coin dimes are few ,nickels are near extinct. Pennies still going strong. Got to figure in , it's A cashless society and things can get tough But 1 nice Piece of Gold can make a season. Good luck out there.

Had the X out last week after a long while. Went to a Soft ball park ,3 fields. The out fields were burnt bad, what grass was there was dead.. The targets were buried mostly in dust . Outside along the fences is where the action was. All in all not a bad hunt. Listening to the X closely didn't dig much trash. Only Bling was a couple of junk rings. Find of the day, a Andrew Jackson Dollar Coin. $4.90 in Coins

@Dancer How do you set your 1st & 2nd disc when hunting inland modern trash sites? I set my 1st to flop on a Nickle and 2nd to knock out up to pull tabs.

In the past I always ran zero dis. On this hunt, first time in my memory, I hunted in Coins. I'm 75 I can still crouch but I know my limitations. On this hunt I did score 2 nickles. Which is close enough to gold for me. Maybe a tic or 2 below nickle is my gold fines area.. This park ( for me ) is notorious for low coin and trash counts. But you never know where that next ring is. I'm just in that stage for keeping it simple.
