Ok Ive got this figured out now thx to some helpful folks. This file should be just what ive been using. Now im not sure ...does this also set you with the exact settings im using??Or just the pattern?

I got the file downloaded to Etrac Exchange but when I go to put it in the Etrac it won't open so it can be transfered. Any ideas anyone?

Ive never downloaded a file and opened yet myself..I would tgink if you put the file in the folder That the E-Trac xchange stores your saved programs in..You should be able to open it..Some of the guys here got it to work..They will Know.Good Luck guys.

Connect your E-Trac and run Xchange. Go to the Patterns tab and click the I Want to: drop down box and pick Upload a pattern to E-Trac. Click the 1. Open button that appears and find your pattern file you save to your hard drive. Then click the 2. Select the slot and press 'Upload' Pick the slot you want to save it to on your E-Trac and press 'Upload'

neat pattern, works just fine on the emulator. Seems to null a bit on war nickels though. I don't have an Etrac, but my Exp II is trying to absorb it through osmosis. :poke: JJ

I loaded both this one and the tighter pattern after this one. I do like the one in this post. Haven't tried the tighter one yet. I ran a little test with it and the nickel slot is just perfect, now if ground conditions don't throw it off some it ought to work great. Matter of fact I just hunted the last hour before dark and it was a pleasure not discerning a lot of the things that I was having to do myself. Actually made my hunt time a little quicker! Alas I found a small amount of clad and a small brass "ol timey" valve for copper pipe looks like. I'm gonna dig the targets for a little while that are all over the nickel slot just to see if I might need to widen it a bit. Thanks.....................
