Pin point target ID

It might just be me but, when I'm pinpointing an aluminum target sounds a little different than a coin. The aluminum has a sharper drop off at the end of the signal. It's sort of a hollow thunk sound. Any one else notice something like this?

I also find that different targets sound different in pinpoint, I put it down to the different metals being sensitive to the different frequencies that the etrac emits and there for sound different.......but that's just a guess.

I also have noticed a difference in some targets in pinpoint mode.It sounds to me like a nickle is much stronger and solid sounding than a pull tab or small light piece of aluminum at similar depths,Ray.
