pin pointer question

i just got my new pinpointer today, looks great,seems to work well just messing around on my bench..my question is this,it came with an instruction boolet that says its a csi pro pointer..whats all this about?? did i get the correct unit?? are there different ones out there??some help here please??

yes it looks like that one..just confused by the booklet saying its a csi probe..

Or the security scanner. The prototype I tested was the old security scanner revamped some.

Where in the booklet does it state that? You may heve gotten the police version by mistake.

Those two units are the same. The only difference is the part number and the instruction manual. Contact your dealer. Those Pro-Pointerds "ROCK"

Is it just CSI or is it CSI New York or CSI Miami?

i guess its police version..ownwers manual says; csi crime scene investigator,inside talks about retrieving bullets and cases and doing building searches in walls,nothing at all about what we do with a pin pointer,came in white box with csi pro pointer on end of box,looks just like the above pointer,so ill try it out in csi kissimmee
ill let you know how it does this weekend..
so far just messing around inside i like this probe,it works allot better than the automax i got when i got my detector...

Contact Melinda at Melinda.Harper@garrett.com and have her send you the correct manual or the whole works if you wish. The units are basically the same. The Pro-Pointer is a redesigned version of their body scanner used in airports, Federal Buildings, the Olympics. etc.
