Pinpoint - sizing

I am starting to use often when determining whether to dig or not. When I get good #'s I select pinpoint and make a quick 1/4 sec. wide pass ~18"w to each side of target. I have found that a quick "WRRP!" distinct response is usually a coin...I am not hunting the best places so usually itz clad. however tested with silver coins in coin garden w/ same indications...

If I have time I usually dig ALL, seems like the quick sizing pass is a good indicator whether to dig. Anyone else using sizing to determine dig??

(Left to right) quick pass with sizing
"WRRP!" = coin
"WRP.WRP"=pulltab or ring
"WRRRRRReeeeWRR" = can
"WRRRRRRRRRRR" = can

(Left to right, right to left) X2 above except add some "RRRRR" to can - "WRRP!""WRRP!""WRRP!""WRRP!" - LRRL,LRRL along a line - is wire!

30 min. quick hunt last week dug 5 clad and 1 pulltab ~4,500sf area covered...thinking it will be just as efficient if silver/gold coin is waiting to be found.

Thanks! sorta my way to cut corners after the trash bag is filled. Always dig up the wire cause I am envisioning a gun barrel....
