In all the post on here there is little to no mention of the Pitch mode that can be found on the Expert menu of the Discriminate menu. It says in the manual: "It does not take into account the target's conductivity: the strength of the signal generates an audio signal that varies both in volume and frequency. This means a more distant target will generate a low-frequency, weak sound whereas a closer target will generate a high-frequency, strong sound". This sounds like it could be used for pinpointing but then we have a pinpointing mode in the non-motion menus.
Given that Alain has only put into this machine what we really need, what could have been his thought for including this feature?
