Pocket Change

Coin Rescue Inc

Well-known member
My Son-In-law gave me a baggie of pocket change he collected over a year.
Out of the 310 Lincon Cents I found these.

Just proves most people pay no attention to what passes through their hands.....

Thanks for the replies
It is always a thrill to to see the "One Cent" and Wheats on the back of a coin.
That was the norm back when I was a boy in the "50's".
My father use to own an appliance store and On Saturdays we would be at the store doing simple tasks.
Things like Mopping the floor, washing the widows or Dusting. One thrill was going thru the Safe and inspecting the Change.
I started coin collecting at an early age.
I am 70 Now. So I don't Get out to hunt like I used to.
Found this in the Basement recently. ;) Lost track of it for 20 years.

I purchased the ORX two weeks ago and got out to one of my favorite spots
March 21st.
It is a 1/2 hour drive.
There is a public beach. Last fall they started construction on a new restroom and Pushed a lot of sand around exposing older layers.
The Light House dates back to the early 1800's. Still owned by the Coast Guard and off limits to Metal Detecting.
I spent 2 hours combing the Area and found two Wheaties there too using the fast coin mode20210321_144648.jpg
