Don't you hate when you dig up a great old knife and it's always rusted? I just cleaned this one up and the scales are super cool! Too bad it wasn't preserved somehow, it's also really skinny. Also pictured is some kind of Marine emblem, a 1945S War nickel, and 5 wheats. One is a 1916, nice! To be digging this time of year is a treat. It was over 50 degrees here in the Panhandle of Idaho. Go get some, before it freezes!
Yes, I hate to find a cool old knife all rusted shut..besides the stainless ones of course...I've got a few that were not...well, not badly rusted even with the carbon steel blades...one is a nice little Schrade that cleaned up not too badly...I figure it was a fairly recent drop though, maybe 10yrs tops...not like that old one you got there...
