Pocket spill

I had one heck of a pocket spill. I would of been happy enough when I flipped my deep plug to reveal 2 silver dimes but there was more. I ran back to the car for the camera but it did not have video on it so, I snapped a few pics as I uncovered it. I seen a wheat peeking through, pulled that and found 2 more just under that one. The hole had to be empty and I scanned it again to be sure. The etrac showed there was more but, was till jumping. I scooped out another merc and my 2nd buffalo. Both this week and both 36's :icon_scratch:. I wont complain by any means though. lol I thought my day could not get any better. I was wrong. ;D I hit my 1st silver quarter and another merc. I also landed some sort of id tag that I'm not sure what it is. God bless everyone and Happy hunting!

Sweet pocket spill!!! That's exciting. You got some very nice coins out of that one hole. I found a pocket spill a week or two ago. I also scratched a couple of coins. It's easy to do when you think there's just one coin in the hole. Great job!

Hey X! Great job, man!! Thanks for the pictures and the story! I have to ask you this. Did you dig the signal more out of curiosity or because you were sure there was a coin there? I say this because (as you watched OhioCoinHunters pocket spill video) when a nickel is in with the others it would seem to throw the signal wacky. What was your observation?

Thats some perty cool pics of the coins hiding in the dirt like that. I have also uncoverd more spills with the E trac this last month than i can remember for a while...I think it is because the biggest coins still bring the numbers up even though the sound is flutey more than usual but the numbers hit pretty good and sound high so I dig them. Too bad mine have been newer coins. Nice to see your silvers comming in like that.

Thanks for everones replies. It was a very exciting hole. Hey Neb, at first contact I hit a penny dime signal and as I moved forward a little it went crazy. I kind of thought I had a penny in with some can slaw. It was deep so if it was a chewed up can, it was gonna have to come out. This area was also pretty quiet. I only had a few pull tabs, 1 zinc Penny,y and 1 clad dime. The rest was as posted. I was getting spoiled. Here's to finding more spots like that one for us all!

No, definitely not. Just trying to be funny. I am very grateful for every old coin I find. They dont usually come that easy. I see some guys and think wow! why cant I make a find like that. I just got luck that's all. Sorry if I seemed cocky. I was just excited and happy.
