Found this button in a field along the river last weekend.
It is cast brass ( including cast, drilled shank ), slightly larger than a penny & convex. It has a period after the "24",
I have found approx.20 cast brass w/drilled shanks civilian buttons & one "puffy" two piece vented button on this field.
Anyone know what this button is?

Try it on the Whatzit or Relic Forum. One of those guys or girls usually know. They have help me out a lot.
