Possible sensitivity issue .... help appreciated

Hi all
When the CTX is turned on the sensitivity display at the bottom of the screen reads at A 16 14.
The noise cancel function is pressed with the coil on the ground. When it is finished the
sensitivity display at the bottom of the screen still reads at A 16 14. It doesnt change until I start
detecting. Thats when it adjusts to the ground conditions and the numbers change.
I never noticed this until the other day. Can someone confirm that is or isnt normal.
Your help is greatly appreciated

It is normal Ron. The numbers at the bottom don’t change because of a Noise Cancel operation. In Auto Tracking it will change those numbers to keep you apprised of ground conditions as you proceed. If you want to see which channel it chose for some reason, press and hold the Noise Cancel button. Press Detect to exit. Remember...Noise Cancel is to let it choose a channel which has the least EMI from power lines, cars, etc.

Thanks for your help ... just wasnt sure
