I'm considering posting some pics. Is there anything special one needs to know/do to accomplish successfully?? I haven't played with the macro mode on my wife's sony camera. Wish me luck.
 
I would make them 800X600 or so. You can use a photo resizer like faststone or some other to get the image size smaller. By smaller I mean the size of the image in KB.
