Poured rain here for about an hour tonight

FINALLY...hopefully, the ground soaked up enough so that the detector will work like it should again...I just purchased a used Fisher CZ 7a Pro to go along with the GTI 2500...Maybe I can give it a real test this weekend if the ground stays moist.

I feel your pain Gopher. Here in wisconsin we haven't had a decent rain since about the first of June or so. every few days the weather man says "chance of showers" but it never comes to anything. We had rain forecast for this afternoon and tonight but half the afternoon is over and not a drop so far. The ground is so hard you can hardly dig it. Glad I'm not a farmer right now.

What is it, around 20% of the country is a drought right now? Probably gonna get worse before it gets better.:thumbdown:
 
Well, it poured rain again today, and rained a bit Yesterday early morning, so the ground is soft again, but the grass will need a lot more to be green again...Humidity is like being in a rain forest...
