Praise GOD for honest people

I came home last night to a upset wife , not at me but the dryer. Our dryer had tore up so today I took a vacation day and took it to town to a appliance store to have it worked on. He fixed it while I was there ,when he was tearing it apart he said the part that was broke was high about 50 dollars. So I am thinking at least 150 to fix it. He got done gave me the bill 58.99 he charged 6 dollars labor. I was shocked so cheap so I asked why . He said he isn't trying to retire from it just make a living. Man does the world need more of him around . He from now on will have all my business and I will be telling evryone to go there also. I have heard lots of people talk about how good he is on appliances . My Dad always went there even when his Dad owned it.
Well I just wanted to praise the Lord. GOD used this man to make my day good.

does need more of these honest people. The jewelery store I deal with is similar. They don't gouge you on things and offer free tests and cleaning. Previously, I went to 2 other places that charged for these things.

The smallest things that we can do for someone, if they are blessed in Christ, will go a LONG way to witnessing testimony, or to make the unbeliever curious, or just to make another believer nod in knowing agreement. Oh, blessed are we in this sweet life of integrity, humility and communal love.

What a blessing 7centsworth for you and your wife! She has a working dryer and you were not charged for high labor cost. Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your many blessings! Amen!

Years ago my wall oven wouldn't work and I had very little money coming in to pay for high charges! I called the appliance man I had to repair my refrigerator years before that and he came out and pulled that heavy oven out of the space it was in and put it back for about $30.00 plus dollars ( Can't remember for sure what the cost was, but it was very low for all he had to do....the oven was really heavy for him to handle by himself! The 1974 refrigerator lasted for many more years...just replaced it in Dec 08 and the oven is still working but my range top has quit working...haven't had anyone out to repair it because I've been wanting to get a new hood and range top plus wall oven, if and when I am able to do so!

Our Fahter in Heaven is very good to his children and He always will be by our loving, obeying and giving Jesus the glory and praise in all things....even during our trials, for it is in the trials our faith grows stronger and God shows us what He can do, for nothing is impossible with Him! So many times we praise GOD for somebosy doing good . But are we christians doing good, so many time we are the first to try and get that extra dollar from someone. I also get tired of seeing christians crying about everything. We should be putting our faith in GOD and not crying about this and that. This man made me do some thinking , am I treating people the way GOD wants me to treat people. And am I acting like a christian , am I acting like my GOD is the most awesome and powerful GOD there is .Because he is he is the only true GOD and I thank him for my blessing today.
