I found this while metal detecting today. I was thinking maybe it's just a tag off someones sunglasses or something? But before I throw it into the junk pile, does anyone know what it is?
 
It could be a bangle or costume necklace pendant.
It depicts a gold India/British gold coin, 10 rupees or possibly other denominations. It seems to have a typo, It should be spelled EMPRESS. I thought maybe the extra letter could have been added later but there would be a gap in the word without it there. Here is the coin....
