Captain Kirk said:Beale,
Just a week or so ago I added the UniProbe to my arsenal for use with the X70. I am very happy with it, but they are a bit pricey. I got the UniProbe with the electronics built into the headphones. I use the SunRay X1 with my explorer and it is wonderful. The advantage with the UniProbe is that I can use it with any of my detectors.

The battery is placed inside the left headphone. You just uses a coin, in the slot provided, to pop off the cover and install the 9V battery. It takes 10 seconds.
