problems any advice?

hello all

just got my detector back with the i update and having problems. the screen seems to get stuck on one vdi # and starts to beep every wear i swing. turn the detector off and on again re balance and start to detect ,15 to 30Min's later the same thing happens. anyone ever had this problem ?

That is a new one for me. Might want to check your coil connector or a differant coil if you have one. Have you tried clicking the trigger to clear the stuck VDI? I would call the service center when they open and let us know what they say. Welcome to the forum, wish it was under better circumstances.

I haven't heard a problem like this before. Call them and I think they will tell you to try a procedure that might work. (reset??)

hello all

called the service center. they said they never heard of a thing like that happening before and to send it back to them. i went out again today to the same place and did not have the screen freeze up on me since i put in magics program. still have issues tho seems like every time i put the detector down to dig i have to re ground balance, if i don't its unstable and falsies. think it might be the connection not sure. thanks so far for the input
