Programs?

Say you make a change to one of your programs using Xchange 2, and want to overwrite the program you just changed onto your detector. What are the steps. The way I've been doing it is, I delete my programs off of my detector, make a change on the Xchange 2, and then reload the programs onto my detector. I know there should be a way to just overwrite the One program I've changed, without deleting programs from my detector. I just haven't figured out how. Help Please and thank you.

I believe you are correct in the fact, that you have to remove the old program and replace it with the new one. I couldn't see that a new Mode would overwrite an old Mode having the exact same name. It seems you can have multiple Modes with the same name in the CTX. Sorry I couldn't help......HH

I think what C&RHunter said is correct. I've tried modifying default modes and copied them to the detector only to find I now have two modes of the same name. Maybe Minelab will fix this in a future software update because it is annoying.
