Question about the Seawater mode

Howard Snell

New member
From what I understand this feature was added last October. Last summer previous I saw allot of complaints of people fully submerging their CTX and the machine becoming highly unstable. Did this seawater function fully solve this problem? Or has nobody fully submerged their machine yet do the winter weather?

I did a search for posts within the past few months, regarding Sea Water mode. Here are a few of those links.

I had mine submerged and it worked fine. I didnt get any chatter at all. I was running auto +3 at getting 25 sensitivity. I didnt keep it submerged too long because the unit I have was purchased used so I was a little nervous. Still am but I think it is okay. Sorry off subject there.
