Question for the water hunters on scoops

jtram

Member
I have never hunter the water and was wondering what kind of scoop is recommended. I doubt that I will hunt the sand of a beach anytime soon. My water hunting would be more likely in the fresh water setting with rocks and mud.

Suggestions on type, weight, handle length and whatever else I would need to know

A good stiff beach style scoop with a 4' handle and a reinforced bottom so that you can really step on it without breaking it.
