question on bags for ctx

I am trying to find out the difference of the bags for the ctx. I know Minelab had a original bag. Then I think they produced one slightly "enlarged/altered" to accommodate larger coils....then the bag made for the ctx came out....Is this accurate? Will the second bag fit the ctx or not?

I could get mine in the original bag, but it was tight, so sprung for a ctx bag from Windy City detectors. They shipped free and no sales tax. Love the bag.

If you plan to do a lot of travelling, someone on here posted a set up for the CTX in a Pelican gun case. Very neat set up and everything you would need from the batteries to the charger, encased in thick foam and airline safe!!

The CTX fits fine in a White's bag with room to spare so I keep the CTX in the White's bag and the White's in the Minelab bag.

Thanks for the tip on the Pelican gun Case. since they have several models, could you suggest the one that fits the CTX best?

That would be fine but Whites doesnt have a shoulder strap and I like to use that a lot.
