Question on E-trac audio

From reading I dont understand the differemce between these 2 audio settings. Variability and Limits. /have not had a chance totry them while hunting. Just read about them and cant grasp the diff. got the part where limits is just working in Multi tone. Does the variability make a bigger diff say between dime and quarter when you set it higher. If so what does limits do?? Explanation of these 2 setting would be appreciated ....thanks in advance..Sonny

Varibility allows a wider or more narrow range of tones, (from low to high), and limits allows for a higher or lower tone on the high end, in case your hearing needs a lower or higher tone on the highest tone.
