Question on the Fisher F75 LTD

I own a Minelab E-Trac and i'm an active member of that forum.I absolutely LOVE the machine and am convinced that there is not much out there that even comes close to it in performance.I have made alot of incredible finds to prove it in a very short time.I continually find myself drawn however to the Fisher F75 series and must say that it looks very appeasing to me as it is both lightweight and powerfull as well, especially the LTD model.I truthfully think that it may actually be a better machine for relic hunting than the E-Trac under certain circumstances.I will be purchasing another machine soon as a backup and i'm leaning very heavily to this unit. The camo just looks very cool as well! Any and all comments are welcome and thank you.

well i had the 6000di dfx xlpro all whites now i have the f75 and to me its found stuff that the others didnot in the same places just my thoughts

I have the F 75 and recently my wife asked me if I wanted the LTD for Christmas. Of which, I now have coming. At the time, though, I could have had any detector I wanted, including the Etrac. I know guys and forum members that have and had both and at the very least, they each compliment each other. Since they appeared to be so close in depth, I went with the LTD because I know how good the F 75 is in trash and because of its light weight, I can swing it all day. Just my 2 cents worth. I have the F 75 LTD as well as the E-Trac. The E-Trac has become my go to machine for coins, but the LTD is still my relic machine....at least until the E-Trac proves it is better. I think they compliment each other. The E-Trac works better in trash for coins. I have a few trashy camps I want to try with it. We shall see. Both are top of the line machines.

keep on diggin'

I have a Minelab Explorer and have used it for about two years. I bought the F75 LTD when it came out. The F75 LTD is really good in trashy areas that have a lot of iron. It separates out good targets that are mixed in with the iron. In clear field when I am relic hunting the Minelab is the better machine "In my opinion".. I have compared the two side by side and the Minelab will pick up deeper signals that the F75 missed. This was done in the field and not in a test garden. I dug a Mercury dime at 12 inches with the Minelab that the F75 missed. I used them both in a really trashy area with a lot of iron and the Fisher out preformed the Minelab under those conditions. I think both are great machines and both have good qualities and not so good qualities. I will continue to use both. It just depends on what I am looking for and the conditions.

In my clean test bed, in my dirt, my Explorer II was ~1" deeper than my F75 on a silver dime. Now the F75 LTD gives me slighty better audio and VID compared to the Ex-II and is at least ~1" deeper in my red clay dirt when dry.
