Question on the Nel Tornado coil.

Anyone use it on the T2SE? Any thoughts about it? Thanks.

I've been searching for tips and I see you already have what I have, too! Just picked up the Nel Hunter for my T2 SE and can't wait to get out with it. May I ask what you've noticed, that's different from the stock, in the settings? I got it mainly for a field hunter but will be using it in the woods this weekend. There's good swinging room in between the trees where I'll be.

Appreciate any feedback Hanover'.

No difference when it comes to the settings, I generally run in all metal, sens. as high as I can get it. Maybe a slight weight difference on the Hunter coil. Dug a bullet in VERY dry soil that read 13". Thinking about getting the Tornado coil for more depth because I believe there are some deeper relics where I hunt. Good luck hunting! Robert

Robert, how are you so successful hunting in all metal most of the time. Is it by reading the numbers or have you got the tones nailed down.
Bill

Hello Bill, those Civil War relics seem to get deeper every year where I hunt, so any advantage I can get to find 'em, using all metal and listening to that single tone seems to do it for me. If it beeps, I'll check the depth, then the number. If it's deep, I'll dig anyway. The numbers sometimes determine the digging also. Anything below 50 I won't dig unless it's loud. I don't use any of the tones except in BP. Any thoughts on the Tornado coil depth wise? Didn't you get one a while back? Thanks and good luck hunting. Robert
