When I use a smaller coil, how much depth should I expect to lose? I have a 4x6 DD

What size of coil are you talking about? Most smaller coils, 5"-6" you'll only lose maybe an inch or so, if that. When using the BigFoot coil (4x1:geek:, you will lose quite a bit of depth. It's a great coil for surface coins along with 3-4 inch depth items. Rings, etc. OH YEAH!!!!! HH, Nancy

The 4X6 shooter is not known for it's depth but for separation in trash where depth is not a priority. Depending on many factors, you can expect 5 to 6 inches with the shooter in clean ground.
