I will let you know, I am waiting on a pair I had to order from Canada as everyone in the states is sold out and the manufacturer is redesigning the whole line.
 
I use mine 50% of the time. It is nice on windy days and when you may be working areas for older coins and need to hear the real light readings. That's crazy that you can't find any in the states....wow! God Bless!
 
I had ordered a pair back in Nov. from a dealer. Called the manufacture last week and was told it could be as long as 6 months. Called the dealer and got my money back. Then went and got a set of Sunray gold pro.

I don't know if Ratphones pays for the banner space, but I think they should be removed. IMO
 
Wonder why the wait is so long.
I use both Rats and Sunray Gold Pro and like them both - or I wouldn't be using both.
 
Thanks guys. If the wait is that long, Desert Rat, then the phones must be real popular. I lost a lot of my hearing shooting loud rifles, and I thought maybe the adds were alot of hype. Have always used the phones that came with the detectors, but it's good to talk with someone that's used the quality phones. Thanks again, Dimesworth.
 
I ordered a pair of Ratphones direct from the website last fall (September? I think) and got them the same week and have been very satisfied with them.
 
According to the website from detector USA they are no longer available in black. Sounds like a dealer didnt have a clue when he told you 6 months!
