Reactvity vs Depth

Just an informal test, your mileage may vary......

Air test, clad dime, hand held, all metal, field 2, sensitivity 20

Reactivity Distance
1 11"
2 11"
3 11"
4 10"
5 9"
6 8"
7 7"

That’s my primary settings sensitivity I bump up when I can thanks..

Reactivity is a setting on the XP Deus and ORX. It is similar to recovery speed on the Equinox 600 and 800.

That is what I want to see...INFORMATION!! Even though my settings mirror these primarily, even running at recovery 7 to achieve better separation, I’m STILL seeing small version old copper US cents at 8-9” with the stock coil. Perhaps this is a “halo induced depth gain” but the testing shows that a significant loss can be experienced if the machine isn’t optimized to the hunting situation. Thanks for putting this up Archie!
