Real Estate maps

Hi Bob,
I was reading a book the other day and it mentioned real estate maps like they were different from regular road maps or topos. any suggestions.
 
I would think real estate maps would be a concensus thing such as for tax acessment.

These 2 give property owner names and their mailing addresses. Some even goes as far as stating what the property sold for and the date it sold.

Tax information is also given on some of them.

This is what I would consider Real Estate maps, but I may be wrong
