Real thing or Re-enactors???

These were both found at a Confederate campsite but the site has had lots of re-enactors on it too. I'm pretty sure the "A" is re-enactors because it is not brass, most likely aluminum (very low conductor on detector). The Infantry button has about a 90% confidence vote from everyone I've asked so far. What say you?

The "I" button is probably real. I found one a couple of years ago that is probably a re-enactors as it had an embossed dot above the "I" plus it had a magnetic(steel) back.

man never thought about you guys hunting spots like that ,man you could get your heart broke quick there congrats on the button.

One of the spots I hunt had reenactments on it. There's friction primers & foil all over the place. But there's also Reb relics there.

The spot that I found mine had no skirmishes or re-enactors... It has held flea markets and picnics ect.. just wish it was real..
