Been out afew times with the VG and really loving this machine, found an old coin the other day in farm field, can't see date it's the size of a large cent but the face on coin is looking to the right not left like on the large cents I have found in the past. Also found small buttons and small lead seals. Thinking of adding another Vista machine to the arsenal. Anyone have any opinions on what vista machine compliments the VG? Maybe a lower freq for deep silver? Thanks

John, The Smart Plus is a detector you might consider.. It runs at 15 khz vs Golds 25 khz. The Smart will give you a little more ground penetration since it is running at lower freq. The Smart has a volume control on iron that is a nice feature.. .Either of these detectors will produce for you though...... Thanks Richard
