Rechargeable Battery Question

Good info to know! On general things....but I would think this might differ somewhat on what device we are talking about.

If ok with you....I will take my electric toothbrush out and see how many coins I find and let Minelab know of my results

Thanks!

the device has little to do with the chemistry of the battery but just to make it good I will try and brush my teeth with my Etrac,,,, heheheh HH

What I meant to say was....I think theres a big difference between a toothbrush and a metal detector. If someone doesnt get enough power out of their 20 dollar toothbrush, I dont think they would lose too much sleep about it, as opposed to a 1500 dollar metal detector. I would hope and think that the technology & batteries ARE different even though some of the chemistry of both batteries are similar.

Another quote, "Unnecessary discharging and/or an absolute discharge will reduce battery life and may damage the battery". This is only in regard to the newer battery systems.
