Hello Everyone

YAAAA the sun is shining again and I'm detecting again (like you all)
This post is being sent out because I'm so unhappy with my boots and gloves and belt which holds my lesche, probe and finds.
So for all you out there that are thrilled with your items..Please share the thrill
But for me the boots have to have no metal because you all know how often we sweep our own feet.

Happy Hunting and looking forward to your posts

You can find work boots and surplus military boots with no meta in them. The eyelets are plastic, and the shank in the middle of the sole is plastic or fiberglas. Put it into google and stand back. all colors, prices, etc.

A definite lead
I forgot to add the knee pads I use, they are from sears
and have a velcroed plastic knee disc which is attached and removable
I believe they may be carpenter knee pads
there has to be something better

If you have a local military surplus store they are great for outfitting yourself. They have utility belts, pouches, gloves, hats, boots, knee pads, back packs, rain gear, folding shovels, etc. etc. etc.

I'm not sure I understand why so few have responded to this post

Does it mean that no one really likes their equipment?

I have tried many types of gloves, knee pads, boots and belts in an effort to find a good fit

Unfortunately, I don't believe I have that "fit"

I cant recommend any items I use in these categories although I luv my lesche
and my garrett probe and have convinced many to purchase these items which they really liked

Before i make any further purchases I believed members would stand by the items they use and
believe in and make a recommendation.

Then I can be the educated consumer :)

Thank You Sugar, Joedirt and Cdsmith 46

I am searching the Internet and local military surplus stores based on your recommendations.
I am getting help about posting pictures so I hope to show you what I found in the near future.
By the way since my first post it has rained everyday but each day has also had some sunshine
So I am trying to be positive and attempted to detect daily but have only found clad because I don't travel far since
I anticipate the rain and don't want to waste the sunshine on travel and some detecting is better than no detecting

Regards and HH

if you are getting trousers for the uk make sure they are breathable they cost a little more but do not sweat when you are out detecting also the boots can be sourced in uk easily when you come over will cost about 40 dollars and trousers about the same i hope that helps talk soon
