I got a call about a lost ring on 4/12/2014 at a local ocean beach. Several had been looking for days but didn't find it. I went out 4/17/2014 and found it in 20 minutes.
It was a large 13.5g 950 platinum mans band. As I came out of the water a hunter came over to ask if found anything, or was looking for the lost ring. I said no he said why not there's a reward. I said cause I found it its in the scoop! LOL!
For those wanting the numbers it was 5in deep in sand in the water read 11-17 settings 50 tone (sweet low tone), high trash, deep off, sea water off. But out of the water just on the wet sand it read 12-17 just more info for you.
I did have very good info on its location along with telephone poles to line up. It really helps to make contact with the depositor. The scrap value is $647.00 @ 80% $517.00 the reward was more!
