Red Goose Token

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I keep hunting my back yard and keep pulling some interesting relics.I dug this Red Goose discount token today. I definitely need to do a grid search. Thanks for looking and HH!

I found one of those myself, about a year ago! Mine is good for 25 cents toward shoes and on the other side it has the quote about "Half the fun of having feet * is Red Goose shoes". Mine was found about a block away from an old railway station in Tyler, TX. Yours looks to be about in the same shape as mine.....pretty rough, but, you can still make out everything using a loupe.

I like old tokens (and new ones), just wish they had made them out of something that would hold up better in the ground!

This is the first one of these I have found. This one has $5 on one side and has the same quote as yours. At first I thought it might be a large cent or something cause I saw the hole, oh well it still is a neat find. Relics like this keep the juices flowing and I still am looking to dig more silver in my yard! Too bad the weather is going to turn starting Thursday and I feel like I have hit my stride! HH!

Congrats on a cool find !
I found the same Token last year - you can find photo's of the Token and learn about the history of the company by doing a Google search.
