Hello all. Hubby and I went to a new spot we hadn't detected before, an old school site, and to our excitement, dug quite a few coins plus other relics. We're trying to work out what date the silver half crown would be. It's very worn, but so far, I can make out the words Georgius IV. I've looked in the Coins of England, Spink book, and the coins seems to fall under the dates either 1821, 1826 or 1820. Not too sure. Would appreciate your imput! So I'm posting a close-up of the coin. Also found some nice pre-decimals and an interesting little lead horse, which unfortunately the head broke off while I was cleaning it. Have to glue it back on somehow.
