Relics from half frozen ground.........

No old coins, just a few doo - dads. Hunted a corn field yesterday for a couple hours. The ground was frozen in spots, and I know my yard is solid already.
Guess I will have to go water hunting now! :surprised:

The first dig is the one I like the most. A little bigger than a quarter, this victorian era button is a dandy.

Found another button, a brooch, part of a suspender buckel, the thing with the hole has a hinge. Maybe it had a front that covered a picture? The two items on the top have some very ornate designs on them.

That is a neat old button. I keep the older ones like that in a mason jar to be seen on a shelf. Glad you can still get out some, Steve in so az
