Remote Discrimination Switch For Sovereign

Yooperbrick

New member
Hello! I am having issues with wearing out the discrimination toggle switch on my XS2aPro. I have had it repaired once, and after one season it is beginning to fail again.

I am interested in installing a remote discrimination switch to hopefully alleviate this issue. I have read about this modification being done by others in the past. Does anyone have information regarding a current option to have this mod performed?

Thank you!

The quality of the switch may be in question.

A remote switch, or button, can be placed in the handle, depending on the type of handle you have. Another variable is the type of switch or button.

It's fairly easy to do. Just hard to explain over text.

XS2aPro is the easy one. GT, and the Elite were a lot more complicated. Good Luck

I do have some pictures of mine done, and I have the files for the GT if needed.

I would like to start with my XS2aPro. I also have a Sov GT, so I am interested in converting that as well. Any further information in that regard would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had ML perform the repair. My XS2aPro has the original S type shaft and cuff with the control box mounted beneath. I also have a GT with the straight shaft and vertical handle.
