Yes, absolutely---you can name them anything you want! 
----Using a pencil (name & in case you want to change it later), just write it in under "Setting Title" on page 83 of your owners manual.---Either that or make a copy of that page for yourself if you don't wish to write in the owners manual.------Can you log that name into the Etrac (similar to the way you can on a Whites DFX)?----NOPE

We need a hack.... They hack everything else why not the e-trac....
When ya got something as good as the Etracs and Explorers---you can afford to loosen up a little & joke about things---cause there "ain't nothin" that's a threat & there "ain't nothin" that can touch 'em!! (especially for deep silver).------I've had em all (Explorers/Etrac) and they were/are ALL "silver monsters".----Think I'll go back in on page 83, do a little erasin & change that program name from Deep to Deep, Deeeep Silver!! -----Ain't no DFX gonna get one over on us with those fancy "log in" names---right? 
------and in-field deep coin hunting--whoa, "look out nellie"--here come the Etrac/Explorers!!!
