What a nice polilte young fellow from Colonial Heights, VA! Will post after the story in the local paper is published!

last year i returned 2 gold rings and the beach payed me back and then some....

Great feeling isn't it? And..it shows we aren't all a bunch of environment destroyers.jim

Very nice story. Way to go sanddigger.

If anyone is interested in helping people out in the same fashion, look up the "Lost My Stuff Group". It is group of volunteer metal detectorists who have joined together to help people find their lost rings, bracelets, watches, necklaces or other metal objects.

I've been a member for over a year now and have recovered 2 rings for their owners. It's such a great feeling when you help folks out and even if you are not successful, the attempt itself is appreciated by the owners and gives our great hobby some good visibility.

Good Job SD, you deserve a pat on the Back....

Hey, I still have the little peace braclet, I should have gave it too you in OC Md..maybe this summer...

Thank you for your unselfish act and congratulations! It not always that easy finding the owners of these class rings. HH!
