Amazing our country's last year for curriulated silver coins 1965. So I hunt some fields where the clad been lost since the 70's. Clean em up, not rare at all to find dimes and quarter's minted 1965. Oh I blunder into a Silver by accident now and then. But that's it for me. I give a ton of credit to you guys who plot, research, sift through all that iron and alum too. And come out with those beauties. Winter before last wading, I scooped out a Silver Peace Dollar. It had no business being where I found it. Very nice shape. Pure luck and I knew it. Not like I really earned it. Maybe I'm messed up.

It took me 30 years of water detecting to find my first silver dollar. Than only 2 more months to find my second one.
I am still looking for my first US gold coin. A nice St. Gaudian would be just look lovely in my scoop.
Just a bit of luck is all that is needed.

I thought 1964 was THE USA'S last minting year for 90% silver coinage? Ma

Think of it as someones bad luck to have lost something and for you good luck to have found it. The score goes from -1 to +1 or the zen in the moment is back to 0.
Ya all dont forget there are special runs of current coins that are silver, probably never find one but they are out there!
