Ring number 7 for me and the At Pro and first beach hunt with it

Well i decided to hit a local beach with the At Pro. It performed fairley well on the dry sand and was tolerable on the wet sand. It was pretty chattery on wet sand even down at 3 bars sensitivity even so the At still found me a ring in the wet sand. I also found a bit of clad. All and all it was an ok hunt. No Gold maybee next time.

Congrats on ring #7 ! Walking on sand is good exercise, too :detecting:

Thanks guys. Its funny these At Pros will hit rings even in wet sand wich usually is hunted best with a pulse induction machine or a excalibur.

Glad you finally got it...on to the next one! :super:

Congrats! Rings are always good, they give ya a little thrill when they first appear.

Trackerman you mention that the Pro has found you rings in the wet sand. I'm guessing you mean wet salt water beaches. I'm curious if you had to change the settings to work wet sand on the Pro. Going to visit the daughter in Florida next month and taking the Pro with. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello yes it was in wet beach sand just above the surf. Its a bit chattery but tolerable if you learn the Pro. Sensitivity down around 3 to 4 bars and listen for the tones and watch your id at times. Florida shouldnt be to bad to hunt less waves than Cali so easier to hunt. On dry sand you can crank it pretty high on the sensitivity I allways hunt pro custom . Ground balance manual if needed . Good luck HH

Hunter,
Where in Fl are you going? I live down here also, maybe we can hook up!
Going to Kellyco this morning to pick up a ATP! Physced out!
