Safari hunt, bagged a Elephant

Short hunt tonight, got a Silver 1940S Mercury Dime, & not sure what the Elephant thing is maybe a souvenir from Australia, it has a small fake coin attached the backside is US Half dollar with eagle the front is Elizabeth II Australia 1981

That's a cool find... Just think...you bagged an elephant while on "safari"...there are many big game hunters who have never done that...and they had to travel to Africa...

Here in NJ we have a famous landmark near Atlantic City, Lucy The Elephant (built in the early 1900s, I think). It's actually a building in the shape of an elephant which you can walk through. It's sort of an unusual tourist attraction. Your find looks very much like a souvenir from Lucy.
Or it could be someone's good luck charm, but I guess it was not lucky for them, since they lost it. Maybe it will bring you some luck... Happy Hunting!

I found this in NJ park, at 1st I thought it may be a souvenir from Lucy. but it says Australia 1981 on the front side of that fake coin
