Sand in coil.

You all doing this need to consider the environment your using it in. If you are using it in the water, how are those hollow spheres or epoxied over spaces going to affect the coil under water? Right now, the coil is negative. Are you going to wind up with a buoyant coil you have to work to keep pushed down to the bottom during the entire hunt?

There's zero chance of the coil ever floating in water. Though I have considered attaching helium balloons to my coil to lighten it, true story.

I have never seen a 1oz tube of shoe goo. I would say you might need more.
