Sat I took one of my looooong road trips to check out older schools and parks. The first place I MDed at I found a Merc, a wheat's, 2 pieces of play money, a motorcycle pin "not silver" and a bracelet. Somebody had MDed this place in the past few weeks because their was some plugs there. One of the plugs I swung over I picked up a trash signal so I figured he left his trash in the hole. Another time I swung over one of his old plugs and I got a nice high tone and it sounded good enough for me to check it out. I PPed right in the center of his plug so I just took out the old plug and then took out all the loose dirt down to about 12" and didn't find the target. so I did some more checking and if seem like it might be off to the side of the plug and it was, 3" over and it was the bracelet, which is just junk. He must of lost the signal and gave up on it, who knows. I also found the Lion's pin there and it's for,,, A 100% attendance, 57-58.
Then the next 3 places I checked out I didn't find anything good and a couple of them had plugs so I was in a area that had a guy that was active at MDing. The last place I was at I found all the other things in the pictures and the last place had some plugs there too.
The cross is marked Sterling but I don't think it's silver, it's way too shiney for silver that come out of the ground and it just don't look like silver.
I didn't find much for old coins but I did find some nice odds n ends.
