Just got back from a 2 1/2 hour stint in an area that i had detected a bit before. Found $1.14 in clad and a 1923 wheatie. The gems of the day were the two half dimes, 1843 and 1853 both around 4-5 inches deep and ID'ing at 28-30. They were actually about 10 feet apart from each other. I was using the 9 inch stock coil, auto GB, and sens at 30..The machine was really quiet at not to many false targets. I do like this machine a bit better than my X-terra 30, not to knock the 30 down, but the 705 is just really that much better in my opinion. Monday should be a big day. Got permission from a home owner of an 1860's circa house. Said i could knock myself out. I went there Friday for a bit, but it was really trashy..Gonna try using my 6 inch DD coil for there. If anybody else has any input on how to deal with a trashy, grassy yard, please do tell! I really don't detect to many yards in the past, mostly woods. Thanks all and hope everyone else is having a good weekend! Em
