Saturday's 4 hour hunt

Ted S

Well-known member
My partner and I went out for a 4 hour hunt Saturday. Struck out at the first site where a school house was in the 1880s. Went to another field I had permission for and we found a few coins. There was broken glass all over the place including the tops of old colored medicine bottles. My friend got lucky digging a 1923 dime and an 03 Barber dime. I ended up with a nice 1891 seated dime and an unreadable token. As soon as it dries out from yesterday's snow, I am going back!!

If you find just one old coin all day long I would consider that a successful day
