You have given me and most people on here great advice, and the benefit of your years of experience. I haven't seen you post for a while, I hope you're ok and that the weather Is getting warmer for you, are you ok?

I've seen him post on some other forums over the last few days. Probably just waiting for the ice to melt like the rest of us here in Michigan.:cry:
 
He left the forum...to many people being jerks to him. Stuff like accusing him of posting things he did not find and exaggerating on his finds.
 
Scubas alive and well 'he's detecting in the water already and finding loot just talked to him the other day. digg it has it right he left this fourm he on others and has a web site open too. Scubadetector.com if you want to look
 
Oh no! He is awesome! Such a decent guy, always giving great advice and sharing his knowledge. Some people are so rubbish! How could anyone say that he would post stuff he didn't find! I hope the people that made him leave feel ashamed. He is one of the best.thanks for the information guys. If you see him then please tell him he's being missed.
 
He spent an hour on the phone with me when I was very new trying to help me get detecting figured out..maybe I will go across the state and see him someday.

That is too bad Robert let the losers get under his skin. I always enjoyed his posts and great advise, always willing to help those new to the hobby.

I'm so sorry to hear that Robert, but understand. I retired as a Find's Moderator a few weeks ago so I don't know what is going on, wish you well :beers:.
 
Sorry to see you go Scuba; I really enjoyed reading about your finds and felt you had a lot of wisdom to offer. I'm not brand loyal on detectors nor loyal to one forum or another as I am here, there and yonder on the forums so I am still enjoying your posts there and yonder. There are many of us including myself that read more and reply less so I don't pop up in your posts often but I still see many of them.

I hear yaa Mud, maybe we can take a trip over there together one of these days. He is such a wealth of knowledge, would love to see him in action.
 
It's unfortunate that Scuba has moved on. This forum has lost one of it's finest members do to some moron that gets their jollies out of being crude and rude. Most likely someone that has the upbringing of a dump rat. It's to bad that so many have to suffer this loss when only one or two ingrates are responsible.

Sorry to see anyone leave, especially someone who is an asset to us all. What was the specific problem/thread in question?
 
Hi KinTN, There was no problem, I just noticed he hadn't posted for a while, and asked if anyone had heard from him. He is going to be missed by lots of people, that's for sure. He's a great guy, always sharing his knowledge. Thanks for asking, good luck and happy hunting :)
