SE Finds from Yesterday!

Yooper

Member
Here are pics of the coins that I found yesterday, second time out with my SE this year and hit a new spot that I researched over the winter.

The 1875 IH is my oldest coin to date and that was matched by the 1875 Seated dime. I had never found a seated dime before, nor had I ever found a V nickel. The 1885 V Nickel is rare! My first rare coin find.

For the record, I live in East Central Wisconsin.

I'd say that dang nice for the 2nd time out. Heck, thats great for the 50th time out. Congrats Yooper

Congrat's on finding what appears to be a virgin site, or close to one. Very Nice Coins. The Seated look like they are in great shape along with the Indians. Also, congrat's on the RARE 1885 Liberty V Nickel. Good Luck and HH.

One more detail. I found the two seated dimes, two V nickels and the three indian heads within a very small 8" area or so. Also found what I believe is the top of a coin purse from the late 1800s. Someone must have dropped it many moons ago.
